Theatre: multiple thoughts

Applied Theatre is multi-disciplinary and involves links with other research disciplines and agencies in the humanities, social sciences, and wellness and health. The focus is on the uses of theatre to educate and to grapple with complex social issues to cope with diversity. Theater at the school can become a lever to prevent school failure and promote success for all students. The management of the group through the theater activity generates new articulations between imagination and reality, between emotion and control and between their own perceptions and those of others.
The successful transition from one to the other is also conducive to the development of the person. Also, thanks to creating a theatrical approach to school, it can reasonably rely on the ability of children to become less “closed” and “stuked” in a mode or a unique way of thinking.
